Hi, I am Caya Lieve, I am the host on the Phoenix Action Podcast, and I talk with people who’se stories inspire.
I’m a childhood cancer survivor, I survived an osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in the hip at age 11 years old, and I started this podcast to share stories of resilience, empowerment and hope from people affected by cancer and grief.
With the Phoenix Action Podcast, I am making space where survivors, professionals and experts can share their experiences, their development and insights in how they achieved their dreams and goals, after cancer.
The Phoenix Action Podcast guests are from any age, however, I also try to focus as much as possible on childhood and AYA cancer survivors.
I rebuild this podcast to inspire others to chase their goals, not someday, but today. By sharing stories of people who have achieved their goals and dreams after cancer, and by those whom are motivated and driven by following their most important goal in life: following their own path.
The stories that you hear are done by people who might have dealt with similar, if not, the same situation as you, and yet they have achieved more than imaginable, and so can you.
This podcast celebrates and focuses on the possibilities that are available in life, even after suffering and transformative life situations, such as cancer, physical change due to the illness, grief, and way more.
Right here is the space to know where people share how they built their lives, pursued their passions and found purpose beyond illness – so you can see yourself in their journey and feel empowered to create your own path in life.
